Faridabad: Properties linked notorious criminal razed by civic body | Faridabad News


CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Police and Faridabad Municipal Corporation on Wednesday razed the structures linked to Manoj Mangaria.
The properties were registered in the name of Mangaria’s aide Javed who is also facing a dozen odd cases of attempt to murder and extortion.
Notably, the state government has already started following the Uttar Pradesh in acting tough against criminals.
Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar gave a go ahead for it last week.
The police and civic officials demolished seven shops, a house and a godown linked to Magaria and Javed in Badkhal village under Surajkund.
Haryana Police spokesperson said that Javed was involved in criminal activities for about 14 years.
“Illegal shops constructed by Javed were identified by the Faridabad police, which have been demolished today,” he said.
The spokesperson said that 11 cases of murder, possession of illegal weapons and assault have already been registered against Javed.
Manoj Mangaria, a notorious miscreant is lodged in Ambala Central Jail Ambala.
He has 17 cases of murder, attempt to murder and possession of illegal against him in Faridabad.
