Maharashtra: Two cars stolen in two days in Nashik | Nashik News

NASHIK: Two cars were reported stolen in two days over Monday and Tuesday. While a car worth Rs 10 lakh was stolen from the Pandit Colony, Sharanpur Road area, the other car worth Rs three lakh was reported stolen from the Vise Mala area. Both the places of theft fall under the Sarkarwada police station.
A 64-year-old resident of Machhgandha Society, Vise Mala, Sharanpur Road, registered a complaint with the Sarkarwada police station on Monday stating that some unidentified person stole the car from the front of his house sometime between 8 pm of Sunday and 7.30 am of Monday.
On the complaint of the car owner, the Sarkarwada police have registered an FIR for the offence punishable under sections of the IPC for theft.
The Sarkarwada police station received another complaint from a car owner, who stated that his car worth Rs 10 lakh was stolen from in front of his house over Monday and Tuesday.
The complainant, a resident of Sharanpur Road stated that some unidentified person stole his car when it was parked in front of his bungalow from 8 pm of Monday and 8.45 am of Tuesday. The unidentified burglar broke the glass of the car and stole it. The complainant said that a blank signed cheque was also in the car. The police are investigating the case.
