As the season of soirees and get-together picks up in Delhi, there are many in the city who are back to hosting their friends after a long gap. Entrepreneur Kalyani Saha Chawla hosted a small do for her friends recently and she also introduced her new collection of luxury silverware at the party. “This collection has been created through highly skill-oriented craft, passed down from generations. It’s actually archaic with almost every tool used that is centuries old. It is handmade from a flat sheet of silver. This year’s collection, Silver Lining, brings modernity with a bit of fantasy, which we need at this time after two very challenging years. I thought the name of this collection was apt to bring hope for a better tomorrow,” Kalyani told her friends. Kalyani also shared with the guests that her collections are updated every year and are in line with modern luxury décor trends.

For guests, the evening was an occasion to celebrate and chat over rounds of champagne. For many who attended the do, it was after a long gap that they chose to be at some party. They also shared that this year it is good to see that social gatherings are making a comeback in the city and as the festive season approaches, the number of such gatherings and parties will surely go up. Pre-Diwali parties will also be back this year as many tell us that they have already started preparing for big bashes. Though the number of guests might be limited at some parties, those who have been attending card parties and festive bashes say that the scale and grandeur will surely go up this year.
