UKSSSC paper leak: Uttarakhand STF nabs ‘mastermind’ Sadique Musa, his aide Yogeshwar from Lucknow | Dehradun News


DEHRADUN: The Uttarakhand STF, in its ongoing probe in the UKSSSC question paper leak case, arrested the alleged leader of the UP-based cheating mafia gang Syed Sadique Musa and his aide Yogeshwar Rao on Thursday evening. Both the arrests were made in Lucknow.
According to STF, the two accused were nabbed with the assistance of UP STF. Uttarakhand Police had, on September 7, announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh on Musa and Rs 1 lakh on Rao.
Ajai Singh, senior superintendent of police (SSP), STF, said, “On Thursday, we received a tip-off from our informers that the two have planned to come to a place near Lucknow. Based on the input, a team was sent to the city immediately. The UP STF was also sent an alert. On Thursday evening, the two were nabbed near Lucknow’s Polytechnic Square. They are being brought to Dehradun for further questioning. Subsequently, they will be produced before the court, likely on Friday.”
Musa allegedly roped in other accused, including Hakam Singh, Chandan Manral, Rajesh Chauhan and Kendrapal. So far, the Uttarakhand STF has made 41 arrests in the case.
