Campus recruitments increased in Andhra Pradesh: Higher education chairman | Visakhapatnam News

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) Prof. K Hemachandra Reddy said that AP stands tall in employable graduates and has ensured that all students should be employable.
Addressing the students in Avanthi Engineering College here on Sunday after appreciating the 1150 campus recruits of four engineering colleges of Avanti institutions, the APSCHE Chairman said that campus recruitments are increasing in AP as it was 39,000 in 2019, just before the pandemic conditions, 57,000 in 2020, 75,000 in 2021. Now, the number would cross one lakh.
He said 3.5 lakh students are passing out from various educational institutions. “The state government offered 1.4 lakh virtual internships and now the number has reached 2.5 lakh internships in BA, Bcom, and BSc. it would reach 7 lakh next year,” he said.
The former minister and Chairman of Avanthi Colleges Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao said there are no full stops for success, only commas. So set bigger goals in life and continue the success journey. He asked the graduates to contribute something to their motherland. Hundreds of students participated in the program. Tech Mahindra South India Recruitment Manager and center head Vijayawada V Srinivasa Reddy, Seema Sikri, and others participated.
