Nade Munde, is only a few hits away from reaching a million views. Released just a few days ago, the song has struck a chord with audiences.
Speaking about the selection and placement of the song, producer Tharun Sudhir says: “The first two lines are taken from Rashtrakavi Kuvempu’s poem Nade Munde (Let’s move ahead). I have been hearing this poem since my school days and the two words ‘nade munde’ itself ooze positivity. We all have different stories and journeys. Our walking speed might be different, but the goal will always be about reaching the destination. Some might reach there before us, but that shouldn’t stop us from moving ahead. If we stop, we get stuck in one place. The song celebrates everyone’s pace – it is very slow, then slow, medium, fast and super fast. The song leaves one pumped with enthusiasm.”
Director Chethan Kumar of Bahaddur fame has written the rest of the lyrics for the song, and Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music. Kailash Kher has lent his voice for the song. “We are thrilled about the positive reviews that the song has been garnering. People are connecting emotionally to the song,” Tharun adds.
On choosing Kailash Kher, Tharun says: “There are two reasons we chose him – one, it is a high-note song, and only singers of his calibre can sing such songs. Second, Guru Shishyaru is a desi subject, set in a village. Kher has an earthy voice that resonates with our folk culture.”
Set in a village, Guru Shishyaru is a sports drama that explores the game of Kho-Kho.
