Lyricist Thamarai says ‘Mallipoo’ was the first song she wrote for ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ | Tamil Movie News

Simbu’s film ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ is performing well after its release in theatres on September 15. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman. Apart from the film, the songs of the movie are also performing well. The songs ‘Kallathukkum Nee Venum’ and ‘Marakuma Nenjam’ were released long back and the trailer and audio launch of the film was released on September 2.

The song ‘Malipoo’ which is sung by Madhusree has become a super hit. Though the song was released a couple of days back, the song has reached its peak only after the movie released. The song is featured in the movie and it has an unexpected visual to it. Fans were excited to watch the visual and they are now sharing the videos as well on social media.

The lyrics for the song was written by Thamarai and the lyricist has now taken to social media to express her happiness over the success of the song. Revealing that ‘Mallipoo’ was the first song she wrote for the film, she also added that the recording for the song much later.
