Therefore, the filmmaker who was at TIFF 2022 stated that Indians have spread across the globe but when Indian filmmakers make films they make them only for Indian audiences or their Indian diaspora, and maybe that is the reason why his ‘Baahubali’ couldn’t break through the international markets, except for a few countries like Japan. Therefore, he further opined that one should make films for wider audiences and think beyond borders.
