The deceased were identified as Dilip (35), his wife Chandani(30) and their two-year-old daughter.

“The deceased lived as tenants on the ground floor of the house,” said the police.
Police and district administration carried out the relief work for three hours.
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the kin of the deceased and instructed senior officials for best possible treatment of the injured.
Superintendent of police, Deoria, Sankalp Sharma, said that that an information was received at UP 112 about a house collapse around 3am on Ansari Road in city area.
The two-storey house was owned by Satya Prakash Barnwal.
“We conducted swift rescue operations and recovered three bodies from the rubble, who were pronounced dead when taken to local hospital,” said Sharma.
