No Bail For Youth Who Threatened To Blow Up Cm Yogi | Lucknow News


Lucknow: Special judge Avnish Kumar has turned down bail plea of a Rajasthan resident in connection with a case of threatening to blow up CM Yogi Adityanath.
Passing the order, the judge observed that the case related to cybercrime and “also connected with national and public security and as such he is not entitled to bail at this stage”.
The court also took note of the fact that the accused, Sarfaraj, sent a message on Whatsapp number of Dial 112 headquarters using his cousin Shahid’s name with intention to cause fear in the mind of the public by extending threats to blow up the CM.
According to government counsel Dheeraj Singh, one Subhash Kumar had lodged the FIR in this connection with the Sushant Golf City police station on August 2, 2022. The FIR stated the sender of the message had threatened to blow up the CM within three days. The police traced the location of the sender and arrested the accused on August 12, 2022, from Rajasthan.
